Michael McDonald came to the store this weekend. He asked me to play the Doobie Brothers' new song Walk This Road on a Hammond. I showed him how a Hammond organ should be played with a special technique on the expression pedal. We used the Hammond SKPro73 and the A3 Heritage System (XK5) and the Leslie 991 and 3500. He loved it and said he’s going to play it that way from now on. He is contemplating using one of these new model Leslies on his US tour. He is such a nice guy. He used my new program for Walk This Road at their album release concert at Irving Plaza Friday night.
